Honestly, i can only see one person who would qualify and thats: Killa Boy.

The clear audio Rookie Of The Year for me. Already established himself as strong emcee.

We have a selection of people would might qualify:

Kiwi Peewee
Wolf King
Zezmeril
IIAM
Saaxxx Baba
KingVA
Squammy

Of these i'd say realistically based on verse content, activity and site impact we could probably get it down to four:

Kiwi
IIAM
Saxx
Squammy


Over the years the ROTY has been decided in different ways. 2008 there was a clear winner who got the title without battling for it. 2009 its was a one on one battle for the title.

I want the site to have its say. Personally i think 4 man mini tourney for the text and i think Killa Boy is the clear audio ROTY.

Get your feedback in ASAP as we should move on this sooner than later.

i dont think rookie of the year should work like this, we don't get enough sign ups for this. it should be something like "amateur pro am tournament" an it'd be for those who've hovered around the middle tier.

@RULE I agree but i think that all should be entered into the contest. If they no-show (after being informed via PM's) then so be it. Best to include all new comers as they too have the right to battle for the title, just my own opinion in regards to 4 man tourney.

I mean a Rookie Of The Year is really an award more than a championship.

The person walking around with the title should be the best rookie of that calender year.

I think a bloated tournament with (lets face) 12 people who have 0 chance of winning and 0 percent of deserving to win it is pointless on all fronts.

Aye, i get ya. Just hand @Killa Boy & @Kiwi Peewee the titles already lol.

No others come close to deserving or even able to obtain it. @Killa Boy is nice in audio and has bars. @Kiwi Peewee has won the LBT and is pretty nice with his text game. None of the others come close to either of these two, being honest nor have they done as much on site either.

I mean if it is an award then these two should get it. Doubt anyone would disagree (bar the other newbs).

Personally i don't see a 4 man tourney in text going any other way than Kiwi steam rolling through... The audio side, if only Killa is the one, then he might as well get that award too.
