The true goal of any HOF is to recognize someone for the work they've put in. It's widely known that there are some who get elected to the hall of fame off of pure skill, and then others who get elected because of their behind-the-scene contributions and tenure with the company/profession. It's about more than being able to "wow" you with a punchline. It's also about legacy (I.E. Sting being elected to the WWE HOF despite having only a few official WWE matches). If y'all are really going to be so anal over "let's beef patriarch" vs Hall of Famer then that's on y'all. But I think we all know Stu is well-deserving of a HOF spot.

^The reason it's better to have it based on skill is BECAUSE of the WWE hall of fame. The HOF in the WWE is an absolute straight up joke and a disgrace to any real Hall of Fame.

We don't base it solely on all time skill, but the runs, impact and successes the battlers had. I feel it's better to base the hall of fame on the skill in a specific field as opposed to a contribution field. For a while, me, Mindless and Student were happy to Patriarchs. This was a fairly bit achievement on the site for a while. Of course Pugz being Pugz spit in the face of it by giving Fiji Osa one for basically being his mate.
