Site progress??

So, X has been relatively silent for a lil bit now, at least to non-staffers. I'm hoping this doesn't landslide into a ghost town again now that the lil revival is cresting over.
Also wondering how this mobile thing is coming along, and if its not, will he be returning to work on shit like he did upon first coming back?

If I'm not mistaken its been a few weeks since he began focusing on it, is it taking up 100% of his focus still?

Yup. Remember the activity when X was here. He was listening to members, making great changes, and activity was climbing. He ghosted and members followed suit.

I guarantee x isn't even in much contact with staff. If he was then crew mates would be able to see comments on battles. That's an easy and obvious fix. And if he's not around for the quick fixes, you can be damn sure that mobile isn't happening anytime soon. Honestly X needs to higher another coder or sell the site to someone who gives a shit.

If that doesnt happen then it's only a matter of time before another site pops up or people start flocking to battleapp or something. I know we have already lost a few members to that app.

I was talking to him yesterday and he said he's hired a coder to build an HTML 5 audio system which will enable audio battling on mobile and in any browser. I've seen some of the progress being made on the upcoming mobile site, so I'm not just speaking from hearsay. I know it's pretty dead right about now but just know that work is being done.

As great as this is to hear, I'm curious as to why X isn't keeping us abreast of the progress. Perhaps he thinks we won't believe it after all the false promises we've had in the past.

The new site is being worked on, it's a lot of work and I'm doing it part-time.

I do plan to give more frequent updates once the new site is in a state that we can open it up for feedback. The goal is to have it launched as a beta version, with the same data LB is currently using, so people will be able to use the current site and new site while in beta. During beta, we'll be collecting feedback (with a proper feedback system) and using it to get the site to a full launch.

This post reads less like a mobile version is being worked on & more like a complete overhaul is being done, when you say "the new site is being worked on" are you speaking strictly about the mobile application or an entirely new site for desktop users as well? Will this site bare the same visuals as LB or even be called letsbeef?

Whats the direction in mind for creating a new site? Is it going to be utilizing a more updated framework? This just brought up so many more questions.
