The History Of: ILLMANIA

ILLMANIA is a forum based event created by RULE to settle ongoing crew disputes due to the lack of a crew battling feature currently. The first ever incarnation of the 'ILLMANIA' event was to find a victor between three crews that were locked in a three-way rivalry. The three crews in question were: Classick At Rhymin, Spectacular Vernacular & Legion Of Doom. The orginal idea was to have all three crews host a ILLMANIA event, which would give each crew leader a chance to set up a battle card. Due however to inactivity and crew departures the rivalrys simmered down after ILLMANIA I, meaning no more events took place. In late 2011 a crew rivalry took off between two newer crews: Dead Poets Society and Goon Squad, so ILLMANIA II was created to pick the victorious squad, and thus led to ILLMANIA being used on a near-annual basis.
