Letsbeef Topical Magazine: Issue #7
WE’RE BACK! The Anonymous Topical Tournament is back and I’m sure everyone’s excited about the prospect of taking home the title. Dono managed to walk away with the 2013 trophy, so it’ll be interesting to see who managed to assert their dominance and walk away with the title this year. The first week as a plethora of no shows while the second week was generally a castweep of battles. With only 5 people going through, you know this week will be the best yet.
This edition of the magazine is for Round 1 & 2.
A few extras: Thanks to WonderBred for starting this. I know he struggled to get on a little bit but he was a HUGE help. Speaking of struggling to get on, I apologize for the magazine and Round 2 delay. It’s mainly down to an extension I gave to everyone, and then 1 days technical difficulty. Hopefully it wont happen again. Another thing is that I’m involved in the anonymous tournament, or at least was in round 1. If it’s an issue if I am to win and continue, whilst running it, let me know and we’ll work something out. I’m randomizing battles using an online randomizer and random numbers assigned to each person.
Week 1
IAmFlow
While Dean and Barfight were close runners up, I think the voter of the week has to be IAmFlow. He was dropping several high quality voters, with large and well thought out explanations which would both help the writer develop, but gave a good analysis of the battle at hand.
Week 2
Lockhart
Enfinite nearly took this, but Lockhart just managed to add in that little bit more detail into his stuff. I'm also not going to pretend that part of this isn't because Enf ghosted after getting the No Show Feed verses sent to him, while Lock got at them within the hour . Appreciate it Lock.
Week 1
Writer 9 (Obey)
Here’s a side-by-side view of 2 dudes, one’s named Vernon and the other Joe..
One was successful and crude, the other was wasn’t earning the doe..
Vernon would grab the paper from the vendor before passing the bridge,
Joe’d be wrapped in a blanket, Vernon would start laughing and cringe..
Not a piece of mind or change would be left in the bucket,
Vernon was tired of these homeless people who were infesting the slums, shit..
Day by day he’d pass by and Joe would leave him a friendly gesture,
Vernon wanted to be the one who would end these ‘’deadly’’ pesters,
Not realizing a the real problem was how society frowns upon the helpless,
When they’re the poor at heart and the homeless wouldn't stoop down around the selfish.
Vernon, a successful stock investor was at the peak of his life,
While Joe was around the trash cans mainly sneaking a bite,
Joe would jot down life experiences in his worn notebook,
He’d write about how he forgave Vernon when he got ignored, loaned looks.
Saved a few dollars in an old can from some of the generous offers,
Took a cab and brought his book, decided he’d try to meet w/ a referenced author.
The next day Vernon passed by, decided he’d go and rip Joe’s jacket,
Kicked his notebook down the side walk, shouted ‘’Go and get that, faggot!’’
The abuse went on for weeks before Joe had a chance to go back to the office,
The publisher agreed to go ahead and be backing his causes,
That year the stock market crashed and Vernon lost his wife and his money,
Had to sell the house, the cars, realized that this life wasn’t funny..
A weeks passed, Vernon grabbed the paper from the vendor before passing the bridge,
Saw Vernon on his way, but didn’t laugh nor did he cringe..
Stopped, took a breath and turned.. told Vernon he’d never forget those looks,
Handed him a 20, a pen, and gave him his own note book..

Fist connected with jaw, hard - CRACK - a sickening crunch
Mouth dripping with blood, stumbled by how stiffly he punched
Vision flickering once, twice, but Jay wasn't quittin to duck
This bully the same reason he didn't get any lunch
Again quickly he lunged, Jay felt the fear in his gut
Hid it as he grabbed his collar, bully lifting him up
"Can't you fight back faggot? Like that was just damn pathetic
Fuck it, I'll smash your head in until you can't forget it"
A daily routine, Jay was getting pretty sick of it
But he was only 5'6'', the other guy was big as shit
Plus punches only hurt a little bit, it was the broken pride
The way each hit ripped his very character open wide
Make him hope to die, made him silent so he won't reply
All night when he'd choke and cry, knowing that it won't be fine
The bully spit as he threw Jay to the ground, didn't make any sound
Not a whimper or whisper as gravity was taking him down
Head slammed against a hood, neck jerked, then laying in the parking lot
Bully's form hard to spot, Jay's brain can't tell if it's dark or not
Consciousness all but lost in this, pain and cloudy thinking
Everything except his mouth was loudly screaming
Now he's dreaming, or at least close to it, slow movements
Himself in a vision, how he looks after he pulls through it
Muscular, fast as a jaguar, flashes of hands are
Smooth as a dance and he's moved past all the bad parts
He knows how to fight, untouchable, technique pristine as glass
Calculating each maneuver like machines do math
But better yet, he was content, happy strong and confident
Clearly a king amongst men, laughing off the compliments
That image in his mind's eye made that dark day brighter
And set him on the path as a world class cage fighter

Mama Bear Mentality
*The film starts*
Grieving, unbelieving, a mother bear raged in the forest
Two stillborn cubs, crazed, anger flamed as it came in a torrent
Growling a dangerous chorus, warning how her pain was so horrid
Until she stumbled upon two teddies, saw they had been orphaned
This day was important, she again felt love flare in her heart
And they were different, sure, but that wouldn't tear her apart
She was there from the start and these two wouldn't scare or depart
Her pair she had lost, but these were hers to be caring and soft
Years passed, the love grew, couldn't undo the connections and bonds
Others as foes, exposed claws, were disrespectful a lot
Show up their own cubs to prove her selection was wrong
But if threatening spawn of mama bear the tensions were strong
The best that she got, the birthplace was unimportant
So blessed it brought joy, her mirth made from cubs supported
Then came the man with the gun, instead of planning to run
Mama bear was more concerned with him catching her young
She hid them, then stood tall and roared, a shot and a hit
Her loves safe and ignored, worth how long she had lived
As she bled, her head ran through the times that they shared
A place of peace and at last release still aligned with the pair
*Film Ends*
A woman stood and spoke "Thank you for watching my short
I've received lots of support, these thoughts are hard to explore
Loosely based on the life and murder scene of my mother
But focused on how tender she nurtured me and my brother
I hope to open hearts, it hurts to think of the numbers
Of orphaned children who work for dreams but just suffer
Want to express emotion, how true adoption should be
I still reminisce on times between mama and me"

Week 1
Writer 10 (ViTRiOL)
1. 13th November 1940, Trondheim, Norway
We are frost-stricken, stranded betwixt the beams cold & godless and scavenging for scraps is our only option,
While we silently shiver in the bitter blackness, this dusky, hollow cellar our only solace
From the impending doom that roams our province in toneless columns, the German troops that search for loot
And lives to rend for life itself wisps like smoke in the hardened hands of these fervid brutes.
I am a poor farmer who had once made a pittance from the earthly fruits,
Now a family whose dismal fates once laid on the brittle state of turnip shoots
2. Face this bleak demise with leaky eyes in the broken rays of a perfect moon.
On a floor ridden with unswept soot, my cherished love gruesomely joined with torment bears the fruit of my loins,
Muffling her cries is my son, weak-limbed, crucially poised with a cloth-in-hand for muting the noise,
But on hard ground we wait, shaken by war and ebbed by hunger in the luminous void.
My dear son Eirik is worn, a lethargic nimbus encases a set of bones that quiver in the tenebrous dust,
There’s a yellowish crust set on the swollen mounds of each and every pestilent cut,
I pray for him, indeed I pray for us, with one hand upon my wife’s hand,
And the other with a passionate grip keeps the Book of Genesis clutched.
With the same grip, she pulls tight as her genitals gush, the resonance of her screams make the cellar erupt
As she braves a perilous plunge, pushing life into a sparsely moonlit world, shadowbound and grim,
She screams, howls until the loudness brims filling the gloom with exerted motions as it stirs commotion,
But I am stunned, as I pull from her some creature and then I am shocked by absurd emotions.
For a moment frozen in time, there is no fear, no alarm or distress and no words are spoken,
As I feel the wet skin against my arms and the eyes of this wondrous girl I’m holding.
Deep blue of azure skylines, lighting up the saddened night-time,
In the face of beauty I weep, how she has been born alongside such tragic lifetimes.
“Cecilie, my darling,” I sob aloud, as I get on my knees and kneel to hush,
But time is lost, from the ordeal she trumped, my cherished love falls ill and slumps.
My spine then aches with fear as I hear a storm of soldiers from above,
No time to cry, to fall, but I can barely breathe with these soulless lungs,
I grip her tight to my chest, thoughts plague me as cold terror overcomes
What would they do to us? To now my only love? The boots overhead, they slowly thump
I place my hands to her throat, what life could she have? With all the warmth and the all the laughter,
But either way, I know: Unwittingly, she awaits the arms of Death and the jaws of darkness…

Week 2
Writer 13
"No matter if you're at the track for fun, or wind up with a tragic run, the 87th annual Racing of the Beasts has begun!"
That's what the announcer bellowed out, it always left the runners jilted,
but with this circuit track? I'm fairly certain that there's something different.
An older man had cranked his engine with his tires up and lifted
Next to him? A lady's camel that's been flapping gums and spitting.
But most amazing? From a greater distance, close to a yacht,
Was an ancient fisherman, who stays alone at the docks
Examining every single wave and the floating of rocks.
He'd hopefully thought the wind would blow and go with the plot
So he won't have to return to work and he'd go home from his job...
And this, THIS was the only hope that'd he'd got.
He'd sit religiously, fidgeting at what he's shown in his knots.
Muttering "If I win this race, I'll be a biblical man!"
He said this knowing in his mind that he's not given a chance
But he'll do anything to defy the cynical chants from the millions of fans.
There were also planes and a 'copter, the competition was fierce
All those around were surprised, he wasn't sitting in fear!
He stood up with massive pride, he knew he was fit for this tier
Stone faced, while the wind's whistle whips at his ears.
Introductions take place, he bends, taking his bow.
The race is soon to begin, he paces straight to the bow.
The gates are made, and he makes a final wave to the crowd
he'll be in their greatest graces once he's famous and proud
and first place and profound to all the faces in town.
3... 2... 1... *BOOM*!!! All the racers started tearing off
soon to figure out who will be victor in this marathon.
At first we saw the boat for just a moment, blink, and there, it's gone
so hopefully he won't be fine and dandy with a share of bronze.
*Hours Later*
In an astounding turn of events, the flying pilots had sunk!
The camel's writhing it's lungs, the car? Driven right to a stump!
The ancient man did it! He gets to spend his time in the sun!
It took him 87 years... He had finally won!

Was it love at the time, or a moment of passion? It was all “Pep See” My mental clarity was opaque with soda’s refraction. Us kids jumping on a bed, Our “Soles on a Mattress” Speechless intimacy, the hold-n-collapse had stolen my captions. My soul was on fire, she was holdin the matches. (Something’s not right) I went from confident, swollen amassed stiff; to frozen and gaspin. holdin a half-ripped Trojan in total synapses. A broken–filactic!? Trepidations in moment of panic!! In my mind thoughts rolled in a gambit. This might slow up my chances, goals and advancement.

My Earth. Moon, and Stars, and Sky intertwined and distorted. Do we try in accordance with life or try the abortion? I realized from the morbid slides in my cortex that life is important. If I love myself then I will adore him!! I decided to forfeit and forward provide the resources. I “sucked at life, but somehow siphoned some morals!!” Steadily stipend for cash, but fightin for “more sense!!” My strife was a core sense, but sent heightened endorphins to 'Peer Amid' the Sands of time for the paper I'm telling you the 'Grind was Enormous'

Living in a little apartment; rips in my garments. A torn newspaper shy of being surrounded by illiterate garbage. I’m sick and I’m starving. Saved by the love in the crop! I suddenly stop to listen in awe when I hear her singing a song…to my unborn son. Man, my “pick” and my harvest!! No longer her Gentleman Caller; Gotta get that money right. I’m spinnin a job riddled with slobs; I focused on my work, finish it off, at the end of the day I’d relinquish it all. In hopes to one day frickin resolve it and be rid of it all quick. Walking through the sands of time, Iraqi style hoping to "land a mine" someday Feeling dead-alive, decayed cause this work is a cattle drive. It's lame, when's it my turn to "Crack a wild Cat-O-Nine?" Damnit my...(I needa chill it, I have a child...Nevermind)

Little man sleeps through the night! Stars glisten on his skin like sequins in flight. Cover his feet (Ok.) He’s alright; worth being a couple minutes late to flee for a flight. I got the promotion I needed, 50% travel so I yearn to be closed to sweetness and holdin my seed just one more proposal then I’m home for the weekend. I get to my destination, do my thing, and leave to ovations. Another victory then (then a ringtone symphony) The message that was sent to me: “Get home quick, we should talk, catch the plane that’s quickest please!!” I “jet back to the crib” to see wifey’s holdin my kid. I console her and sit then tears start flowing and shit. What would roll from her lips put loll to stomach, intense!…Straight the pits. “See, there was a lightning storm the night before. Christ assured…there wasn’t a flinch or wince; Damnit! You think it shoulda hyped him more!?” I tried some more…Clapped, moved and he laughed, loomed facing away. I was frantic, true. Hadda to face it today. Our son might be deaf, whatever is next might “be for more or for less...”

Doctors and tests, prodding the flesh. Audiologists make promises “Yes” but from Commodus’s breast. Audio Visual, cranium copied, its critical: 3 brain surgeries, 30 consultations, blessed w/no complications. Sloppy inpatient procedures to quick outpatient “Knock Em And Wait” bits. No common prevail, we honestly thought we had failed. (Shit.) The surgeries wouldn't work. His auditory nerves were too small, the procedures could have been prevented had we known all along. (The fuck!?) In my head I killed all involved. I put my shoe through the stall...in the bathroom. (What’d you do?) We stayed burning away at a “Wax Situation” to light his future. “Your son can sign to you sir (lol) so try to view words with eyes so lucid, yup, one day your son could be inclined as you sir” they told me...
((5th Floor - Elevation))

We bought sign language books, learned from tutors. He was always learning new words, new language means new courage. He incurred his mother’s will power and my intellect. We couldn’t wait to see what project he'd finish next...(Stop, Flash Forward) I reflect on the trials and tribulations. Miles of simulations; All the while the situations were wild…we truly faced them. (To myself) “ It's been a while since you've correlated the past w/ present. Remember that initial "Damnit" after conception? Well, damnit it measures as spec on the timeline, paling the most drastic of measures. Stand and just treasure your clan in a “reverence unheard” because this might have all along the planning from heaven” (My boys playin, carefree) I saw deaf child’s silent grace in a dark time and place, Light a shade to overturn a ‘negative’ with a sense of whiter space. A Panoramic wider take on my tunnel vision, and a smiling face to match the suns emissions…Wow, that was my “Mistake!?” I pray every night for God to double his dreams...Just to list of a couple of things. In my world "Elevation" is attained when God pulls a couple of strings...

(Part 1)
These are the verses that were no showed from round 1.
Writer 14 (Dysfunctional)
As a child he was never one to be discriminated
Although his skinny stature was never eliminated
While he was young other people’s comments never affected his fragile ears
His grandmother always taught him that when things got tough he should battle fears
The progression of years and articulation
Made him change from the artist who hated to being bombarded through hatred
As a child his ego was the one thing that was strong enough to break through stone gates
But as the words which once had no effect were growing more intellectual he grew to hate his own place.
He tried to stand his ground despite everyone trying to bury him beneath it
His soul trapped inside the prison confinement called his heart with no chance of releasing
He became a mixed drink of one part left alone and two parts tragedy.
What the kids thought to emote was less about common sense just apathy
One night he went home not looking deranged or beaten
He felt the knife pass his throat like strangers meeting.
His mind like TNT lit at both ends as the razor’s leaving.
After that day he was considered highest on the totem pole
Not because he finally had popularity but because he was finally unable to over throw his over dose of broken hope
She was eight years old when she was first called ugly
Throughout her life she would have to rehearse running away to avoid the pushing and shoving
She had a birthmark that covered less than half her face
The kids would always say look at that disgrace.
Or that she looked like a bad mistake that’s only half erased
To this day despite a loving husband she doesn’t think she’s beautiful
Her self esteem and confidence has been trapped away in cubicles
But what they don’t understand is that she is two kids strong
And their definition of beautiful starts with the word “mom”
She will always live with that chip on her shoulder that will grow heavier with each day
This society’s norm allows for no lee way
It’s just the he say she say
Lives stopped like freeze frames.
But this? This is just loose debris
Left over from when we finally do believe
That we can smash all the things we thought we used to be
Our egos crushed under the weight of others anger
As we become more articulate words become less of inferior banter
And more like the last one in the chamber.

I’d have liked to have seen that shared out a little more. A great line was “Their definition of beautiful comes from the word ‘mom’”. Really strong message in there, great thinking.

Writer 11 (Wizdumb)
I’d never admitted the hate that ive witnessed, but lately it's seems though the days are extended, blatantly endless, year upon year of pain and oppression. A pagan once raised where the vagrants were present... Now placed in a cage til I'm raised to the heavens.
‘Not guiltys’ what I plead, my fate was changed by the sentence. An aimless depression, facin rage and aggression. Maimed and defenceless. In a place where the ranks try to placate the peasants and the demons screamin out... but not an angel is present.
So for an ageless existence ive been claiming I didn’t take place in the killings that got me chained n imprisoned… but facin the end of my place in this wasteless abyss of hate n proscription I’ve made the decision to confess my regrets and explain to their children:
“Dear Joseph & Chloe… first off I just want you to know that im soulfully sorry for what the two of you were exposed to that morning. When I saw the door broken… my ears perked, mind jetting. I rejoiced at the thought that whatever I brought back to the heart of my block would probably cop the most marvelous rock stash. N that’s all it took, I was gone to plot in a hot flash.
But what played out that when I returned, I couldnt have predicted happening… I was happily snatchin all that I could grab, but I didn’t see ya daddy standin, poised behind the mantelpiece.. What I did see was his face twisted in a maddening grimace as he tackled me trynna hack n slash a piece big enough to cause a casualty…
In an instant we were grappling.. battling.. scrambling to find our footing. I did, n with a violent push I ripped the knife directly through his adams apple nd right into his spine to mute em.
That’s when I saw the wife was moving. Advancing with a rifle toolin round with the safety just long enough for me to strike n put the exact knife I used to carve up ya daddy, right into her sinus tubes then up into her eyes n pupils.
It was a travesty. I was just an addict plannin to snatch n thieve just to get some smack... and ended up actually snatchin away ya chance to have a family.
So Although I know you'll never accept it and theres nothing I could ever do to gain your respect, I truly regret it."
And then I sent it.
Cuz for a soul about to recede in suppression... a guilty conscience needs its confession.

The only downside I have is that sometimes your rhymes popped up in unexpected places, so I found myself backtracking slightly to find out what I had missed and what put my flow off.

"Premonition's"
Night One:
I've been having a dream lately, I just can't shake it.
When it starts, it emits red, my body pulsates, quaking,
My mine stutters, racing, out of pace like crazy!
Then I see him, that shade thing, staring blankly.
I could never see his face, I make out a top hat and brim.
As he approaches I wake up, it's happened again....
I think nothing of it, I laugh and I grin,
I walk it off, go one with my day with it in the past,
The past has passed, that's just it.
Night Two:
I'm having this dream again, why can't I shake it?
Mind's racing, the pace is, ugh, I hate it.
Lucid, I can make out the surrounding, tree's and hills,
I can smell the sea, the mill, summer, the heat is real.
The man appears in the distance, just behind a heat wave,
My mouth is in a drought, my teeth ache.
He approaches, my heart pumps, bump, bump, bump.
My heart says "Stay" my mind yells, "RUN RUN RUN"!
I wake up....
Night Three:
This time I'm in the snow, the cold, freezing rain,
The weather doesn't makes sense, I need to wake,
Then I see him, clear as day, it's me, he's speaks his name,
"I'm Steven Ray, did you have the same dream today?"
"Because when you pass the part with the sea, the heat and waves"
"Something dire happens, I believe it's grave"
Day One:
I awake, tremors quake throughout my being,
I question reality and what I've been dreaming,
"Something dire can't happen right" I keep repeating.
I take a walk down the street, I feel the heat, and smell the sea,
I see the figure with a top hat and brim, my mind is racing,
I'm jarred awake, fast asleep, I just can't shake it.
Night One....

Consume useless products from fabricated illusions, use two fist fo bucks, hum??, elaborated contusions, decapitated in ruins, a mind's a terrible thing to waste, get lacerations for two cents, the system was designed only, for castrating the new kids, not delivering hope to the masses, that they're playing in tune with. Having it all, is a delusional mind state, the grass is greener on the other side but, confusion is what the line plays, residing in tombs of life, strife, only contributes to the crime rate, micky d's to migeon, still looks like beef upon my plate. Power with words, knowledge on the decline, shower the herbs I heard it through the grape vine, towers a blur coz wounds heal, it just takes time, life is a distraction, so easily they take mine. envy the great guy, but all systems lack value, change comes from with in, no one listens to the how too, lackin sight to see both sides of the fence like vision from cows do, open mind stems, up your cap, no pickings from cow doo. Hunger for more, drives the starvin to die, material love fills the heart in disguise, patiently wastin breaths, hit trees w/blows till the carbon arrives, tweetin behind the cardigan guy, an stay disillusioned to the fact only the hardest survives. Carcinogens fly, projectin full circle that the carcass is life, so reachin for dullness, poles shift, from darkness to light, so hardship can survive. Conceptual existence is an immaculate lie, truly its lust steerin this elaborate ride, twistin presences, livin lessons, not protectin the why?? as the steadily lackin sight about life, to notice you only live, once an if you do it right, that should be enough ..to die!! Currently currency, is turnin the purpose the, statutes of freedom never converse over conservin, current me?? coz perpetual peasants stay purposely perpetuatin perjury!!! that's why the lack off money is the courtesy we currently need w/urgency.. so knowledge can bring unity through skills an diversity!!

This was a decent "topical", but to me, it seemed more cypherish than topical.

Unconditional Love
The first day I met her, I was at the cafe getting some fine food
She was bussin' the tables in raggedy clothes and sun-dried shoes
But somehow I looked at her and just marveled her numb life
Was it her long brunette hair or eyes that sparkle in sunlight?
Her dedication, her resilience, or all her hardworking days
For some low-end tips and a paycheck below minimum wage
So one day I got the courage to ask her on a date with me
She was stand offish, and surprised when I made the plea
But she said; "Yes, we can give it a try and grab a coffee"
"That sounds great, here tomorrow morning" I replied softly.
And here we are today, we've been together for twenty years
yeah we had our differences, family deaths, we shed plenty tears
I offered her the world, a nice house and luxury cars, the good life
A Healthy Diet, Brand Name clothes, anything she would like
After all this time, she still never wanted a dime
She stayed true, and never became daunted and primed
It was never about the money, never about the easy livin'
Or not being hungry, or having anything that was freely givin'
She was this one in a kind ace; A pure beautiful angel
A heart, no matter how aged, was youthful and graceful
No matter what I had to give her, it was superficial and dumb
Any other person would have found it irresistible stuff
But was she gave back was unimaginable, It was the best gift of all.
What she gave me back…
Was unconditional love.

Bit of a sentimental touch and makes us reflect on how we shouldn't be as superficial. Very good topical here.

1. 13th November 1940, Trondheim, Norway

Scheme wise I felt it was actually quite impressive, but on the flip side, there were also areas to where the scheme work needed cleaning up to keep a better flow going.

Writer 28 (Barfight)
Bob woke up with his head trobbin
Went to the medicine cabinet
got some excederin tablets and popped em
Hes been written up twice this month and cant let the migraine stop him
from doin the 50 minute commute to the city where his desk job is
Greg woke up with his hands shaking
Anticipating the hunt and the misson
finaly going to put to fruition
The plan hes maintaining
An assaination attempt on the presidents men while hes campaigning
Bob was running late, shit
If he doesn't make it in by eightish
hes fucking fucked and thats an understatement
and whats this, no, no no
A fucking makeshift roadblock for that dumb republican Pollock
to campaign and try to buy my vote now he's really tried my patience
Now I need to fucking detour and pray to god I make it
Greg was on foot, hat brim pulled low
solely focused and ready for a jolly good show
He wants them to know he an honerable pro
So he made sure that he cleaned up and polished the chrome
A man on a mission he walks with conviction
But wasn't aware of that hatchback dodge on the road
Bob hit greg doing seventy five
"FUCKIN A, CANT A GUY GET ANYTHING RIGHT"
He screeched to a halt and he ran to the side
of the road where Greg lied he was barely alive
Bob saw the weapon and the plans were presented
Sprawled on the pavement there wasn't a question
as to what greg had planned for the president
Bob had stopped the assassination attempt and
should feel like a hero instead of contempt and
Agressive emotions creaping up the back of his head.
No denying it now, Bob was gonna be late
He was gonna be fired, he was filling with rage
That republican scum was the cause of his pain
He picked up the gun, flipped off greg, walked away
And laughed to himself as he walked toward the stage.

Lizman – Just fuck you in general.
Other people that no one gives a fuck about – Nerrison, TheDarkness & EdPoe.

@ Dave if it makes you feel better, I honestly forgot lol. And when I say if it makes you feel better I mean, I took my grandma's blanket out on the clothes line to dry the same day you gave me the verses to feed, and wanted it back in that afternoon as you wanted the feed.
The blanket is still out there.

^You're the only topical GC champion who has continued to write beyond winning the title.
Just look at the former champions.
Jason - All time text great. Hall of Famer from text alone.
OddGod - Glitch in the matrix.
RhetoriK - At the height of his text popularity.
Erupt - Long time text vet.
RULE - All time text great. Hall of Famer from text alone.
It's no coincidence that every tournament I've ran in here has brought forward some new guys who just have a flair for writing, while all the old tournaments had popular text battlers winning at the end.
