Facebook Video Cypher Contest
 

I'm planning on hosting a video cypher contest through the LB Facebook page. It is geared towards promoting the site and getting new people to sign up. If anyone remembers the video cyphers we've had in the past, it's essentially the same thing where individual submissions are turned into compilations and voted on. The main difference is that this one will be open to anyone on Facebook, not just LB members. Submissions will be posted on Facebook and voting will take place in the comments along with a special panel (to try to prevent it from being strictly a popularity contest). As of right now, there's a $100 cash prize and an LB t-shirt courtesy of @Pugz. Additional prizes may be added. This isn't a sign-up....more like a heads up and to see who's interested. Also, if any one has ideas on how we can have a bigger impact with this, feel free to share.

You guys should put some money into Facebook advertising and target people that like the well known live battling pages (Grindtime etc.). You could sponsor the contest post.

I will spend at least $100 purchasing ads for either the promo flyer or video (haven't decided which one yet) as well as on each compilation video as they drop.
I also intend to post it in a lot of the groups and pages you ssuggested. I've been fairly active in a few of them so it won't entirely look like spam. :-) I'm open to getting help spreading the word from any one on here who's familiar with these groups.
