The Boss

Both had decent multies and wordplay. One was slightly more consistent with the punches and metaphores.

I feel like Metatron was more aggressive in the 2nd 2/3rd of his verse but that first couple lines to set up the obvious optical illusion nameplay really hurt. There were nice jabs throughout the rest of the verse. Fybre was more consistent and complex throughout..using idioms and flips to lend his punches more impact.

I felt the winner had more stand out bars structured in their verse. with text you just never know how they would portray their verse in person. GB FV as always

Breakdown: F.O. your Verse Had a Few broken Multis. Like, You Bolded Words that weren't Relevant to The Following. bolded words. Basically the connections were Iffy throughout ....Meta On The Other hand Had Lots Of Hard Hitting Jabs and a Haymaker Or Two. I Really enjoyed His Verse Even tho He Had a Bit Of Filler at Points. He had the Better Battle Verse. Cant take anything From Either. Good Job Guys. ✌

Fybre...I liked the opener, seemed like a fresh play off of his name. You followed it up with some decent jabs and rhyming. The dory punch was pretty clever imo. Overall, a solid verse, but it coulda used a little more effective punching. Rhyming was solid. Nothing that was mind blowing, but no real miss steps either. Those were my two personal fav lines.

Meta, I liked the concept in your opener a lot but it was kinda choppy. I'm sure on a mic it would sound dope, but in this format it was off a bit. Not to say it was bad, but it coulda been cleaned up a little to help it hit harder. Raisin bran punch was cleaner for me, good stuff. Blue collar punch was ok, but not great. Kimbo punch not bad, but kinda light how presented. The closer wasn't good. It seemed forced with the rhymes and the punch really didn't hit for me, but other than that good stuff. I had this as a kinda close one with meta taking it with a more consistent attack, but the closer fell kinda flat for me so it's much more even now imo. Fybre had the more consistent rhyming flow and structure for me making it a more cohesive read. Meta had a more consistent attack on his opponent throwing something at him every bar(even closer which didn't hit hard imo)rhyming was slightly above average from meta but nothing special. With a second read, I think this has to go to fybre in a close one. He had a decent attack as well and was more consistent and cohesive overall. Good battle boys. Fair in. 7.5 to winner.

Fybre: opener was alright. you need to work on fitting in those concepts better, there good but could be done better.. a couple of light punches with those concept but due to the way it was delivered it didn't hit qite as hard for me.read verse 3 times maybe I'm missing something?  I did notice the wordplay........... Metatron: on the battle tip I think you did a little better job approaching ur opponent, although i didn't like you're opener I think u coulda finished that bar stronger and better. the choice of filler words you used was alright. can't decide if that fyper up line was hot or not but I did kinda like it. Kimbo line made my eye ball hurt lol. Good luck gentlemen my vote is in #FAIRVOTERSCLUB #DEX4MOD #MLGA

I feel like the winners approach was more significant which allowed for his punchlines to make a bigger impact multi's were on point as well It was really close to call so I'm voting on which verse I enjoyed the most gb yall and gl in advancing

Consistency of the punches and better rhymes took this....The other picked up some steam in sections of their verse but it wasn't enough to take this the fairs in

Very close battle. Felt one had a smoother read but less punches. So I had to make a decision. Im going to have to go wit punch strength and quality on this one.

This was nicer then i thought it would be

Fyber you started off nice wit ya opener but seemed like after ya 4th bar u started slowly goin down hill an ya closer was kinda weak my fav bar from u was the dori line [thots never stay long] that was fire my G

Met you was the oppisite you started slow but once you got up to speed it was nothin to crazy or damageing but you did keep a smooth consistant pace wit the punches wit ya name flips thrown in there

The bar from you i liked most was the [seein i dog]  that 1 hit nicely

Props to both an GL to each my fv is in

Both mc's had decent verses, overall, AND had dry spells as well. I thought FO had a bunch of good setups, such as the "dory/thots" punch, & the syrian refugees line was cool. MET didn't have super-complex multies, a lot of 2 syllables actually, so I didn't give him that category, but his setup of the kimbo punch was good, with all the youtube & optik comparisons. It was close, I scored it 7-6. No hate, fellas. Good spar.

One's wording here came off as awkward. They did have some good ideas but just didn't execute them enough. My winner was just more consisten w/ the punches that landed. Fairs dropped
