Text Heavyweight Championship Battle
REZN Vs Celsius
For the Championship battle we have the third massive battle in the REZN Vs Celsius trilogy. REZN (Battling as Rant) first defeated Celsius in a Grand Championship Final, before Celsius evened the score with his victory at THC Fireworks '19. This unlikely rivalry has a clash of styles, REZN known as unpredictable and unique while Celsius is lauded for his punch & personal heavy style. As well as the one victory over each other, both also have the best battle records in the THC, with Celsius undefeated at 2-0 while REZN became the first person to hit 3 wins with his 3-1 record. This battle will see them go head-to-head to find out which one is superior once and for all. Celsius enters this battle after a disappointing Grand Championship exit in the third round so he will have added incentive to hold on to his title. REZN also exited the GC in round three so also will enter with something to prove. I should also note that this is the first rematch ever in the THC.
Betting summary: The form guide is strange on this one. Both are very familiar with each other and with them being tied at a win a piece, that gives no help in predicting a winner. While both exited the Grand Championship earlier than they would of liked, prior to the tournament they were in good form. Celsius is still unbeaten in the Text Heavyweight Championship, while REZN picked up the Tag Team Championship in December to add to his Grand Championship. Based on the his incredible verses lately and REZN's inconsistent form at times, Celsius will have to be considered the favourite to walk away with the title.
Betting favourite: Celsius
Icon Vs Legend - 32 Line Battle
RULE Vs Rieper
This eagerly anticipated battle sets arguably two of Letsbeefs greatest text battlers ever against each other. RULE - who reigned as the sites top dog from 2010-2012 and Rieper - who has been unstoppable in recent years, racking up many massive wins and championships. This was supposed to be a secret battle planned to take place during christmas 2019, but RULE's run in the tag tournament meant it was delayed. The only battle between these two took place in a Grand Championship final which saw RULE return after a year away from the site. RULE defeated Rieper and returned to exile, while Rieper built from that tournament run to become the sites undisputed best. Many thought that one battle would be the only time these two would clash. RULE had been retired from battling for 5 years, but he returned to letsbeef in the summer of 2019 and showed he was still capable of top tier performances, winning the Tag Team Championships with REZN and making the final of the audio scheme. On the other hand Rieper has continued his insane run, beating heavyweight after heavyweight, refusing to relinquish his grip on the throne.
Betting summary: The element of time cannot be disregarded here. Rieper will enter this battle as favourite due to him being at his peak currently. However RULE did manage to defeat Rieper in the tag team tournament although they both only contributed half of the verses each. The safe money goes to the current king Rieper to redeem his Grand Championship loss and get a win on the board over RULE.
Betting favourite: Rieper
Same Scheme - 32 Line
Rai Vs Manhattan
Our third main event of the card sees the former Text Heavyweight Champion Rai battle Manhattan in a 32 line scheme battle. The ability to scheme for 32 lines is a difficult one which adds an extra layer to an already intriguing clash between these heavyweights. Another point of interest is that these two were a tag team in the recent Tag Team Championship, reaching but ultimately losing in the final of that competition. Both are two of the most acclaimed battlers of recent years and a victory here will serve as a springboard into championship contention. Rai will be looking to put that auto-loss to REZN behind him, while Manhattan makes his debut in this match-up.
Betting summary: Jesus this one doesnt have a favourite at all. The only elements that could come into play here is the fact that Rai has been more active lately and is known for scheming most of his verses. That might give him a slight edge but Manhattan is a Grand & Concept Champion so this will be very even.
Betting favourite: Rai
Battle Card
GOOD GRIEF Vs Guts
This clash sees Classick At Rhymin crewmates face off with GOOD GRIEF making his Text Heavyweight Championship debut against the ever improving Guts. This battle came about after RULE published a Top 100 Textcees list, which gave Guts the motivation to battle every active text battler that was ranked above him.
Betting summary: GOOD GRIEF has been on the run of his life, culminating with a massive win in the Grand Championship against the current THC Champion Celsius. So even though Guts has been elevating massively in recent months, many will think GOOD GRIEF should leave this battle with the W.
Betting favourite: GOOD GRIEF
Fidel Vs Edgeworth
The two princes of letsbeef face off in this exciting battle. Both have carried the mantle of "most exciting prospect" in text battling on this site at different times, as both have shown the pen ability to truly break-out into the next level. Edgeworth has picked up a number of secondary championships, while Fidel has struggled to find the motivation to put in a consistent run of form. However Fidel enters off the back of a big victory over GRizzEAT at the last event. Another victory here would surely catapult Fidel into the best run of his tenure.
Betting summary: Fidels up and down activity levels will surely be a consideration here, with Edgeworth battling much more often and against high tier opponents. The edge (pun intended) will go to Edgeworth in this match.
Betting favourite: Edgeworth
Kiwi Peewee Vs O_G
The placement of the battle on this card does not do the battlers justice. Kiwi is the reigning LBT Champion, who enters off of a strong run in the Grand Championship tournament. While O_G has been dropping heavyweight content for over ten years. This will be an interesting match-up with Kiwi's concepts and O_G's street-based style.
Betting summary: Based solely off of recent form, Kiwi will be the slight favourite against the veteran O_G.
Betting favourite: Kiwi Peewee
2FUEL Vs Squammy
The veteran 2FUEL serves as the gatekeeper for the rookie Squammy in his THC debut. Fueler enters this battle on a mixed bag of form, with a defeat to Kiwi on the last card fresh in the memory. Squammy takes a step up in competition level here.
Betting summary: Squammy has proven to be a talented new-comer, however the vet 2FUEL should be too polished here. .
Betting favourite: 2FUEL

Main Event Battles
Celsius Vs REZN
REZN missed the deadline
This was one of the weirdest and most controversial title matches in recent LB History. REZN initially missed the deadline to post, and was thus DQ'ed. However, in the spirit of competition REZN managed to put together a reply to Cel's verse so the battle could go down. The voting seemed to be going in REZN's favour, when a user posted publicly accusing Celsius of biting one of his lines from a live battle. Following an investigation by moderators it was initially deemed that Celsius had bitten, however this remained extremely controversial and the decision was later apologised for as the evidence remains unclear. This led some to believe that REZN should be given the title, as Celsius had been given an auto-loss on the battle. Ultimately though this battle did not count toward the THC as REZN missed the deadline and was disqualified, meaning it ended up as a no-show victory for Celsius.

Eh... This thread was only made today... already have the PYW and Audio GC for the 25th. Now THC on 25th.. bit much?
Would make sense that today being the 24th, maybe have this happen on the 26th/27th?
