For the heads that were here when the site was started- what year was it? I ask because I've been around a lot of sites and know quite a few great battlers, but this site seems completely contained (meaning- nobody that was dope here left) or at least that we knew about at the time.

Okay this is interesting. They all came from here? Conceited too? Was he was the one who came from this boards text arena? I know he was a prominent text head at one point. That's pretty dope.

Also- I meant specifically text- that were here and went on. There are archives on different sites going back to 2000, but I never saw this site mentioned or anyone that was from here. Not a diss- the internet was pretty self contained back then.

They're all text heads/All started in text and then went into audio and onto live... perhaps Homeskool was only purely audio, can't recall off top of my head.

I don't entertain GOAT lists, but I've learned a lot over the LB eras from various people.

This is going to sound back-handed but a lot of those so called goats never adapted to the times, never played around with different flows & styles, beats, etc. So the irony here is while a lot of those goats were ahead of their time, very few adapted. And even fewer have verses that still read or sound incredible today.

TLDR; There were many goats and I respect them for what they did but I'd wipe my butt with 95% of the people on these lists over a beat
