Understanding VP (Vote Power) and how it works.

I understand what you're trying to say. Yeah, they will still be penalized for giving bad votes. An inexperienced battle rapper unintentionally giving a bad vote is just as bad as someone who is experienced purposely buddy/hate voting. If left unchecked then the unpracticed noobs will continue to give bad votes on more battles without even being aware of it. Taking your time to write lyrics and post battles just to lose due to these new users making uneducated votes when the battles deserve better analyzation is very frustrating. I attempt to be informative when adjusting a user's VP by messaging them privately about what I did to their VP and why.

This is incorrect, fam. If you're being penalised, you're also aware that you done wrong as its more often due to some form of fuckery in part of the user being penalised... as such they receive an infraction detailing why in their PMs.

As for implying LB is like a country...

LB, is a website, like all websites there are rules. Members can abide by the rules of the website they're using or not, but cant complain if they receive 'punishment' for breaking the rules... of that website.

Only on LB do members feel they can make their own rules as they go and blame everyone else for their actions...

Consistent, unbiased voting is a sure-fire way of making sure your own VP is higher. This comes with a good knowledge base of what to look for in battles and knowing what goes into a good verse.
