No. It seems that people that want racism gone keep bringing it up every time a cross race murder/attack happens. Whether it's white's accusing blacks, blacks accusing whites, Chinese accusing Koreans, it doesn't matter. As long as people keep bringing the race card up it'll never go away. What Zimmerman did here was He chose not to act on a suggestion from a 911 operator. 911 operators are allowed to give advice, not orders. if they give orders they become liable for what happens, they are only allowed to suggest. So technically Zimmerman was fully within his rights the entire time as following someone is not illegal.
its unfortunate that the situation escalated and of course it goes without saying that if Zimmerman just let him go then none of this would have happened, however that still doesnt mean that hes guilty because he was within his right to act how he acted.
But look it up though man, its important to do your own research..
this event just seems like a very unfortunate set of circumstances that ended in a tragedy.. the more you research this topic the more youll see that it was just shitty luck, shitty timing, shitty everything

You say here he basically has the right to Follow Trayvon............These are your words.........Now Stop avoiding the question............DID TRAYVON NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO WALK TO THE STORE AND NOT BE FOLLOWED ITS A FREE COUNTRY...........I KNOW I HAVE A FREE RIGHT TO WALK TO THE STORE WITHOUT SOMEONE FOLLOWING ME..............

Everyone has the right to be in a public place, but if the subject had no desire to be followed - running away being a clear sign that Trayvon did not wish to be followed and was distressed - then it becomes harassment, surely @ Jason?
That's why the verdict isn't sitting particularly well with me: Martin runs before deciding he's had enough of being chased and confronts his pursuer; couldn't his lashing out at Zimmerman be perceived as self-defence? Martin feared for his life as this armed stranger - not exactly a small man - chased him down for no good reason? I sure as hell know that if someone was attempting to chase me I'd confront the guy and, most likely, snap on him if he wouldn't leave me alone.
I completely understand where you're coming from Jason, but I think we can all agree that Zimmerman caused this by chasing Martin based on the fact he had a hoodie on... In the rain. Racial profiling or no racial profiling; the pursuit and subsequent tragedy was entirely unnecessary and preventable.

Martin was 17 though remember, a kid, and probably felt in some kind of danger; a stranger chasing you for no perceivable reason would certainly have you at least a little worried and I personally think it was quite bold of him to finally confront Zimmerman. I also think Zimmerman should've attempted to let Martin know a) who he was b) why he was chasing him and c) he was armed.
I think the real issue here @ Jason is that we only have one side of the story; without insight into how Martin felt at least there was never a real chance of Zimmerman going down for it; it was his word vs, well, a dead kid.
