Reading it, I actually think BoutThatLife probably took it convincingly. Brayne was coming off with a ABBA rhyme scheme but doesn't have any concept of punchlines. None the less, he sounded a bit slick with a couple of his attempts. Meanwhile BoutThatLife had a tiny concept of punches with things like the tie the knot idea and was much stronger in terms of his rhyming.

The thing that makes it close is Brayne is more direct. He's going at his opponent where as BoutThatLife sounds like he's kind of dropping a cypher. But with BTL being the stronger lyricist, having the stronger flow and having the better attempts at punchlines (which are still admittedly next to non existent) I'd probably vote 5-6 to BTL.

You have the pre-punchline style down, but punches are pretty much the most important aspect. Get HVK to give you a very quick crash course in how to include them. It's pretty easy once you get your head round it, and you've developed the rest of your style to compliment punches well.
