Jokes help but I would think rhyming would be a more universal understanding, if you can have inner rhymes then you're GOLDEN.

It's case by case and much more complicated than x beats y or is better but.


On the most basic level.
If they are in and around the same level of structural and technical skill or even if the latter is a bit more technically sound.


Charismatic personal punches that not only breakdown a subject, but do it with the sole purpose keeping the crowds entertainment in mind at all times gets the W for me.

Because to me live rap battling shares a lot in common with stand up/Roasts.

Straight up no thrills Gun/threat bars are (9/10 completely hollow) a dime a dozen across all facets of the the genre, so you gotta have something really special about you to standout and win me over someone who's words not only make me laugh, but who's words cut deep with actual weight and substance to them rather than empty braggadocio's threats said mainly to suck my own dick.
