I think if we did a custom beat tournament... it'd be cool if the opponents used the same beat like Fern and I did...

Yeah, gettin Fern so early was a tough break...It's nice to get a lil bit of momentum goin first, b4 you u start facing some of the top heads, when it comes to beat battling

And yeah, I agree both competitors should use the same beat, after all that's how beat battles are done at open mic nights...Only problem with that for ME is..I'm mad choosy when it comes to pickin my beats..I could be feelin 1 beat 1 minute, start writing...then 10 minutes later, hear another beat and be like WOAH!!..I've got to use this beat...either edit my initial 16, or write a completly different 1..And I'll be like that RIGHT untill the last minute

But like I said..I agree with what you're saying...It keeps it on an even playing field
