The Stick of Truth
I guess I won't be playing a lot of those old games I never quite got around to finishing. Just deleted a bunch of shit from my old ass 80 gig PS3 so I could download this joint. Anybody else playing this? What do you think? NO SPOILERS!

Probably won't play it but I watched some vids of the gameplay and it seems cool. the battle style is the only thing I would really say isn't good about it. but I gotta admit, Mr Slave's move is hilarious. Overall cool game, didn't expect much from it at all but it's good compared to all the other games based off cartoons.

Getting really good reviews. Used to play the old final fantasy games so the turn based combat is cool with me.

XBL always been a rip off. I'd be willing to bet that it's around 30 or 40 on PS.
You'd have thought cutting out the packaging, shipping and the other countless expenses would have made digital downloads cheaper, but what do we know?
Sticking to the topic though the game looks like heaven to me. I'll be buying it day 1.

have to consider throwing a contract together>uploading it to the servers>and promoting it on the featured products and w.e else digital stores do nowadays, in the end yes they dont have to ship things out, but they do have to charge ad substitute the shipping costs with paying other ppl for different tasks (you actually can download DLC on 2 separate systems and get away with it.. long as you use the main account it was purchased with and download it to the systems HDD

Those costs are nothing compared to the none digital method. Printing alone costs a fortune.
We don't even get a hard copy as a guarantee the game is safe and is OURS.
We're basically paying either the same or over the odds of retail.
Crysis 3 on XBL is still 49 99. I could buy it brand new for 20.
Shit even out of date sports titles. NHL 12 or 13 is the same 49 99 AS nhl 14.
What ever way you dress it digital DL (particularly XBL) is a complete and utter scam.
Sorry for getting off topic I feel like making a SEPARATE THREAD AND MOVING THESE POSTS TO IT.

It was 60 bones on PSN as well, full retail. That said, I just played for like 30 minutes and its ridiculous. Visually you can't tell that you aren't watching the show. The combat mechanic seems fun after the 1st fight. The dialogue is everything you would want it to be. I have already had a few hearty laughs and I am still in the tutorial part of the game. Seems like it's gonna be worth a full price retail game, I hear the main story line takes about 15 hours to complete not including side quests but the town seems so well fleshed out with so many easter eggs to find that I could spend much longer than that just fuckin around.
