Tournament Format/Rules/Scheme Details:

Rules:

- 8 Bar / 16 Line Battles
- Battles will be posted in the Tournament Section
- Competitors need to adhere to the established date/time deadlines per round
- Host will select the rhyme schemes for both opponents to follow
- Both Opponents MUST Use the same rhyme scheme/pattern for the entire Verse
- Creative risks can be taken, but may work for or against your overall judgement
- Creative risk example 1: Slant Rhymes are allowed, but is a considered a creative Risk
- Creative risk example 2: Internal rhyme patterns are allowed (could be considered a creative risk)

Syllable counts:
If 4 Rounds: 2,3,4,5 - 16 participants
If 5 Rounds: 2,3,4,5,6 - 17-24 participants
If 6 Rounds: 2,3,4,4,5,6 - 25-32 particupants

Bye Priority:


1. Grand Champions (then current to least recent)
2. Scheme Champions (current to least recent)
3. Other Secondary Champions (current to least recent)
4. LBT Champions (current to least recent)
5. Premiere Champions (current to least recent)
6. Premium / Exclusive member pool
7. Seasonal Top 10
8. Basic member pool

If we need more byes than that, we’ll figure it out lol I don't anticipate needing more than a few.
