Mafia: Who's up for it?

(Note: this isn't an official signups/explanation thread. It's just an interest check, and if you don't know how to play, get to Google and go to the Mafiascum wiki. I'll be doing that with no major modifications.)

Guys, I already know we've done Mafia here before. Who's interested in potentially starting a new round or few of it, hosted by myself? The theme would be LB members; you would be assigned the role and ability of another LB member. It wouldn't necessarily have to be another member in the game (it would probably be better if it wasn't, actually), or even an active member.

I had redesigned this game at one point, adding new classes & better mechanics. Then I vanished from the site and ended up losing it, so fuck.


I'm in for playing / potentially hosting a future match though.

I've already determined how your role is going to work if/when someone is assigned it. lol.

Out of curiosity, when you were redesigning it, what version did you use as a template? As far as I know, the LB version was fairly basic. A lot of communities, especially dedicated ones, have designed metric fucktons of roles and mechanics to keep the game interesting.

I was simply attempting to overhaul the LB version, as it was the first I had ever heard of the game itself. But yeah, would be cool to see some intricacy. Though I will say that it shouldn't be too complicated or half these dudes wouldn't play.
