Text Heavyweight Championship Match
Jimmy Hoffa Vs Rai
The first ever THC title match will be contested by two of the sites top tier active battlers. Jimmy Hoffa (formerly Lockhart) has emerged as the sites leading star in the last year, racking up a big number of titles and tournament finals. Hoffa is without doubt the sites number one battler, excelling in all formats. While Hoffa's story is that of triumph, Rai has had a mixed year, while he has achieved one of the sites toughest accomplishments: Being crowned the LBT King after holding that title for a consecutive number of title defences, he has also had a number of heartbreaking defeats in tournament finals. Rai looks to put behind him the close final loss during the inaugural Summer Throwdown, and to be crowned the sites first ever Text Heavyweight Champion.
Betting summary: Both battlers have clashed on numerous occasions, with Jimmy Hoffa coming out on top in ALL of there last 6 meetings. Its completely possible that with Rai's recent momentum, this could be his greatest chance to emerge victorious over his long time foe. Hoffa must enter this battle as the overwhelming favourite, as he looks to put the cherry on top of a thunderous 2 year run on Letsbeef.
Betting favourite: Jimmy Hoffa
Battle Card
Fiddy Vs Rican
A clash of era's enters the card as its Co-Main Event. The popular and incredibly skilled Fiddy seeks to emerge from his time as a mid-card battler in the shadow of big crews like Classick and Murda Muzik, to burst into the main event scene against one of the sites greatest all time writers. Rican conversely will attempt to drive towards his first major singles title in a letsbeef career that has strangely never seen him capture a top level championship. The writing talent both possess is on par with ANYONE active on the site, and one will attempt to force there way into the next title match.
Betting summary: New Vs Old, this battle of eras will be very closely fought. Rican will enter as a slight favourite due to his pedigree over the years, but anyone who has read Fiddy's bars will know that he has what it takes to win.
Betting favourite: Rican
Dave Vs 2FUEL
Two veterans of Letsbeef clash here but with a freshness about this match-up. Dave, better known as EtH during his tenure on Letsbeef is better known for his forum exploits than this prowess in the text box. That has all changed in the last year as Dave has found his niche and style, bringing a clean wording, yet personal heavy style that is fairly unique on LB. 2FUEL on the other hand is stepping back into the arena after years of solid mid-card work during letsbeef's golden era. FUEL has shown promise lately and looks to keep building towards the summit of the site.
Betting summary: In a strange turn of events, Dave finds himself entering this one as a slight favourite after a career as the pereninal underdog. 2FUEL has shown what he can do in the past, and ring rust shouldnt be a factor but Dave enters after a number of impressive victories recently.
Betting favourite: Dave
Subreal Vs IIAM
Interesting clash here between Sub, who has shown glimpses of top level verses in the past, and relative newcomer IIAM, who has joined the THC in the hopes of jumping into letsbeef with a splash.
Betting summary: Subreal has produced top drawer bars in the past and should be too much for the newcomer.
Betting favourite: Subreal
Wretched Vs The Saxx Baba
A strange story here, Wretched, who is a former Grand Champion of the site has had a loss of form and focus as of late. The Classick At Rhymin alumni seeks to regain momentum against the challenge of the surging challenger - Saxx. Saxx has made his presence felt in the open arena, challenging for the top of the winter ranks.
Betting summary: A Grand Champion who has lost his way, and a battle hardened rookie of the year candidate. Momentum might give Saxx the edge, while Wretched's pedigree means he can always rise back to the top.
Betting favourite: The Saxx Baba
