Weed: True Words
so yall niggas know I indulge in the habit. however....about 3mos ago I had a personal situation occur where I was forced to stop smoking weed. for the sake of some insight....I wasn't a SUPER HEAVY smoker...but I did get high at least once every day. the whole myth about it being habitual...at least in my case...was a joke. once I had to stop... I just stopped. no problem there. what I noticed after about a month was pretty telling. for one...I lost weight...really even changing much of what i do. I did start drinking more water, but didn't exercise more or anything like that. i don't know how much I've lost...but more than a few people have commented on it so its pretty significant. secondly...i used to suffer from acid reflux and shit...that went completely away. at work...my mind is working double time...I've literally been given much more responsibility and opportunity nearly overnight. my clothes smell better...and the amount of shit i get done in a day is amazing...i'm able to keep up the crib better...i mean all types of good shit.
this is not me preaching about letting go of vices..however...in my experience, stopping weed has improved my life significantly in just 3mos. its funny cuz i used to kinda go back and forth a little with @ Jason over the validity of some similar points that he made about weed causing these issues...and every time i notice that shit improved i think of our convo...
i'm not saying i may not smoke a blunt on new years eve...or maybe on a vacation...but i can pretty safely say that being a habitual user is over for Killz yo...
DONT DO DRUGS n shit lol

No doubt man. I'm in health and fitness promotion yet I'm still blazing at least once a day. I'll be cutting back soon and eventually trying to sort of quit (maybe once or twice in a blue moon) but It is hard to quit tbh I don't smoke cigs and I don't drink as often so for a lot of people they have a crutch to fall back on. For me blazing actually helps me drink water lol I drink more water then anyone I know and that's because I'm usually cotton mouthed. Anytime I stop smoking for periods of time I for sure feel a lot more clear and my head is not so cloudy. Everyone has a different body and it effects us all differently so for me when I stop getting high for that first week I feel nauseous, my appetite is next to non existent and bad head aches. So its funny to hear people say that there is no withdrawal symptoms from weed because it depends on who you are the way it effects you. Its usually the stoners who try to claim they don't lose motivation but being one myself I can say when you stop burning you gain that motivation back and you actually want to go out and do stuff that's going to keep you active and your mind working. Good luck w/ quitting btw I hope you succeed

95% of the time its the people who are effected by the substance who try to claim its harmless. One of my boys had a seizure actually a few weeks ago after blazing pretty much all night (not to say that had to do w/ the seizure) but the point is I was at the hospital with him and they ended up cleaning his lungs...To see the bag of all the tar and residue was terrible...Made me cut back and now I probably should quit. I broke 2 ribs and bruised my lung last year in an accident and when I went into the hospital the doctor asked me if I smoked so I of course told him not cigarettes but weed. He showed me the picture of my lungs and gave me a stern look that said "stop what your doing" yet here I am and sure I've cut back but both these things should of been wake up calls to me.

Good shit K.
I aint gonna lie, I'm Tryna get in the Marines but still smoke that shit.. due to my sleeping pattern being all fucked up coz I work nights and day shifts so a blunt before bed knocks me for 6. But it's like I've become too dependant on it, I ain't had a natural sleep for a while.
I don't smoke cigs anymore tho they don't do anything for me.. just leave a stale taste In my mouth an a stale smell on my threads.

Oh hell nah fam that shit was still hard as fuck. I smoked like 15/20 a day while in work but that was only cuz I wouldn't risk my job by gettin high during work hours.. it took me atleast 5-6 weeks of stopping & starting again but I just replaced the craving for nicotine with food.. anytime I needed a cig I just ate something. Sometimes it's not the actual cig that you need, it's just the motion of having soomething in ya hand an puttin it to ya mouth.... No homo.

I agree with @ Jason it annoys me when people say it has no bad effects, sure it's not as bad as tobacco or a lot of other drugs but it's still not good for your health. Well done Krhyme.
I'm into fitness, go to the gym 4-5 times a week, count every nutrient I eat...pretty big deal for me. Honestly the more "Clean" you are the better you feel, cut out the junk food you feel slightly better, sleep 8 hours... you feel better. All of these things add up.
