I've been thinking for a while now of creating a Discord Battle League. There was some interest but with recent resurgence of Live Battlers ( @FAME @ELOH STACKz etc), now seems to be a good time to bring this idea up.
The poll is multiple choice: so pick a day and a time.
This would run just like the LBA & LBT, one battle per month. Though it would be done via Discord, to give that "live battle" feel.
How it will run as in time lengths etc is still to be determined but, off top of the head i'm thinking:
Ladder Matches:
One Round @ 2 mins
Champion matches:
3 rounds @ 1 min a round (with alternating starters).
Again, this is the basic idea, will be flushed out more over the coming days/weeks when more get involved and make suggestions.
This will be 100% a cappella.
I will attach a poll to this thread to see:
1) which day suits best & 2) what time suits best (i will be using Est time)
Drop your ideas/thoughts on this and lets work towards creating the DBL together.

It will run same as the LBA/LBT. So it will come with a title for the champion; DBL Champion, and will add towards their GOAT section thread (Greatest Of All Time Stats Page).
"upgrading the site to a discord server" is moot. Discord can't facilitate LB across its board, though a live battle league can certainly make things pop. Hence the 'DBL Championship'.
As for updating the site... that won't happen until ownership changes hands (dusts off shoulder). Till then, we run with what we have.

I think this is a great idea. Plus, with kats live and listening in, you can get real-time reactions, which is something most of us aren’t used to. It could only help LB the battlers.

Gotta get everyones times zones and kats gotta actually jump on there and spit first..
shit needs to be later in the evening imo..that's why I'm sayin time zones..I'm straight cause I'm Est so it don't matter on my end..but 6-8 early AF imo..
Need to be some god hour shit..and on beats, but maybe just start with some freestyle shit to make sure Kats actually show up..and rap💯

If not pacific standard and central time shouldn't shouldn't be an issue with Eastern standard time unless there busy. An that should be addressed if people decide to participate. And there's an actual agreement

He's been doing live battles and he did help hope coronation battles when they did at the time. Some people didn't show up and some people did alright and some people killed it
