Bar Structure
Most new members post battles like this and hit enter after each line, do not capitalize any of their rhyming words, as well as often double space between bars like a music verse. Your immediate foundational goal when submitting a text battle should always be to fill up the box. Not utilizing the space given to you is a quick ass way to allowing your bars to be overpowered by the opponent who will likely have filled up the box as much as he could, not filling up the box is basically starting at a disadvantage.

Secondly, people cap their multis here. Multis=the words in your bars that rhyme. Here is an example of one of my recent battles. As you can see, both emcees capitalized the words within their rhyme scheme to allow for a more fluid read and less of a need for an in-the-moment breakdown of the way the bars flow.

A lot of people on here have a fairly closed minded outlook on capitalizing your multis, they see members who do not do it as nooby & in my experience on alternate accounts will even vote lower on average for a verse that doesn't seem as complex and fitting of the natural format here. I would seriously advise new members to take the advice here and simply capitalize your rhyming words, its easy.
